The last two days...

  • have been tiring

  • dusty

  • work-filled

  • messy

  • chaotic

  • now complete

    • We spent the last two days doing a renovation project at our house. We put down laminate flooring in our main living area and kitchen. The finished product is a very nice improvement. Dad and mom came up to help out - thanks dad for all your hard work and tools, and mom for loving on Ava and cleaning - we couldn't have done it without you! Thanks to Aaron as well for his help and hard work- you are appreciated.

Dad and Steve worked hard getting the chip board up from the subfloor - not an easy job.

Mom and myself helped to pry up staples - they did most of it though - thanks guys

Just a look at the kitchen floor in the process

Steve, Ava and I spent the night in the living room watching a little baseball and so you think you can dance...

while the kitchen looked like this!

Steve and Aaron taking a little siesta - brief but enjoyable none the less!

Laying the first pieces of the floor - the hardest part!

Finally done - a look at the floor and the almost put back together house

another view of the living room

and Ava through the entire process was a trooper - putting up with a lot of noise and dust she managed to keep her smile and sweet disposition!
